  • Complete remodels

  • Basement finishing and remodeling
  • Kitchen remodeling

Our services are available to residential and commercial customers in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding areas in a 50-mile radius. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client at our discretion.

Cost estimations and contracts

We will provide an initial estimate for our projects, which will be subject to change based on unforeseen events, conditions, or client requests. A signed contract detailing the scope of work, timeline, and cost breakdown is required before work begins, and changing orders requested by clients after the contract is signed may result in additional costs and time adjustments.

Payment and fees

A deposit is required before work commences, which will be expressed in the contract. Payments will be made in accordance with the schedule outlined in the contract, and late payments might result in work delays and additional fees. The final payment is due upon the completion of the project and client approval.

Project timelines

Estimated completion dates for projects are based on project scope and material availability. However, unforeseen circumstances such as weather delays or supply chain issues may affect the time it takes to complete projects. In such cases, the clients will be informed of any significant delays and challenges.

Client responsibilities

For the work to proceed, clients have certain responsibilities as well which they must uphold. Firstly, we request that clients provide One Up Home Improvement staff and personnel clear access to the work site and ensure the removal of personal belongings from work areas. Furthermore, any required permits for building and remodeling must be obtained before a project commences unless otherwise agreed upon. Lastly, clients are responsible for approving material selections in a timely manner to avoid delays.

Liability

One Up Home Improvement is not responsible for damage caused by improper maintenance, natural disasters, or third-party modifications after project completion.

Cancellations and Refunds

Clients may cancel a project before work begins, and the deposits paid, if any, will be refunded depending on the timing and incurred expenses. If a project is canceled after the work has begun, however, the client is responsible for covering labor and material costs incurred up to that point.

Governing laws

One Up Home Improvements and its services are all bound by the laws and regulations of the State of Pennsylvania and local governments of Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas within a 50-mile radius. All conflicts will be resolved under the laws of the state, and our work will proceed with all the required permits mandated by the state.
